Have you ever felt stuck? Like no matter how hard you try to move you stay still? You want to scream out for help, but no matter how loud you raise your voice, no sound escapes your mouth. And when you do finally move, you end up right back where you started. Like you’re going in a circle. It’s a never ending cycle of try and fail, right and wrong, yes and no, but still nothing changes. It feels like you’re stuck in a jail cell with a life sentence. You long to escape, but all you can do is slowly dig a hole with a tiny spoon, praying that the spoon won’t break in half. Because if that spoon breaks, all hope is lost, because that spoon is your only chance for escape from your prison, for a change from your continuous circle, for freedom from the hole you’re stuck in. Anyone who has ever felt stuck has that one thing they hold on to with all their strength. They feel that this one thing is the only thing that can save them from a life of always taking one step forward and two steps back, or, if not save them, then at least make their life sentence less torturous. That one thing can be anything from a person to a simple word and these things have something in common. Love. Love for a person, love for a simple word. No matter how stuck you feel, how trapped, love will always be there helping you hold on, begging you not to let go, to always hope. Because in the end, love conquers all.
